Urban Iki loves to bring some Iki in your life! With our roots in Japan, Iki as a part of Japanese culture is close and dear to us. Beauty in everyday life is a part of the Iki feeling. That is why Urban Iki is about design. Not the complicated kind of design. But the refined, honest, original and functional one. Together with Dutch designers, we created Urban Iki. And to make sure everybody can have some Iki in their life, we use our street smart to keep our products affordable.

Dutch Design

Dutch design could have come from anywhere. It is not all about the Dutch but more about a mentality. Unconventional, minimalistic, creative, a bit bold, but still all about functionality. Inspired by people and what moves them. Finding solutions for everyday challenges and making them beautiful. At Urban Iki, we literally brought in the Dutch who designed the first Urban Iki bicycle seats.

 

Technology from Japan

In Urban Iki by OGK east really meets west. Dutch design and Japanese technology come together. In the streets of every modern city in Japan, you see moms and dads cycling with their children on OGK bicycle seats. Seats created, technically developed and manufactured in our factories according to high Japanese quality and safety standards. In Japan, we have done this for over 80 years! Urban Iki is not just a new chapter in our future storybook, Urban Iki is our past, present and future in one.

Affordable price tag

When we buy products, we trust them to be safe and of good quality. That is the way it should be. Of course, we feel responsible for the safety and quality of Urban Iki bicycle seats. In Europe, there is a norm, EN14344, which describes the most important things to guarantee safety. We use this norm in developing the seats. TUV is an independent institute taking care of testing and reviewing products to check that they meet the norm standard. All Urban Iki seats are tested and approved by TÜV.
